I am a small business owner of handmade bath and beauty products who was in desperate need of re-branding. My products are incredible but with my homemade labels they looked like they belonged in the dollar store and did not represent all the hard work that went into creating them. From first contact Michelle was an absolute professional that was able to sort through all of the jumbled mess of what I wanted my brand to look like. Michelle was able to create a design that was more me than I could ever have imagined. I have always been confident in the products I made but not so confident in the way they presented. With Michelle’s expertise I had an amazing holiday season that exploded by word of mouth. Everyone loved the packaging! On a side note, Michelle had to do a lot of hand-holding during this re-branding evolution. Let me explain myself. I am absolutely computer illiterate and navigate computers with a hope and a prayer. I had no idea the difference between a JPEG, PDF or a PSD (anyone with me here?) Well to say the least, Michelle was patient and communicated “computer talk” on the most basic of levels so I could comprehend. All and all, Michelle created over 84 individual labels which included a logo design as well as business cards. She is reasonable and every penny you invest in her she will create an amazing product that will earn you ten-fold in sales!
If you are looking for just the average 90%, I suggest you move on now. However, if creativity, passion and knowledge are what you seek in a candidate, then Michelle is your gal! As a long time colleague and friend, I have the utmost respect and admiration for Michelle Chan. Her eagerness to explore, challenge and share makes her a valuable asset to have on any team. As a matter of fact, most of my industry foundations that I carry with me till this day were all acquired through working closely with Michelle. Her genuine personality is the main reasons why she is always appreciated by those she comes in contact with. For all the listed reasons and many more, I fully endorse Michelle Chan in all that she sets her mind to achieve!
I had the greatest privilege of working with Michelle at IW Group. I reported directly to Michelle. Michelle is an excellent Account Executive who takes any job she receives seriously. She is personable and genuine, but professional and firm when situation requires. She has an appetite to learn and I really appreciate her showing interest in understanding how each team functions. Michelle was exceptionally awesome to work with. And so patient: I ask alot, but together we made an ergonomic zipper pull so perfected that I now keep it below my cinema screen so I can look at it every day; It's become my benchmark for the quality of detail and nuance that I hope to achieve elsewhere. It's hard to find partners like her who really know how to keep the momentum and make great products possible. She's a true gem.
